Description: The mental health world and the legal world often overlap when families are experiencing divorce and custody disputes. This free two-part lunch series is designed specifically for mental health professionals who work with divorcing or separated families in legal disputes.
Part 1 will focus on best practices when providing therapy in separated families, how to avoid aligning with one parent, and the importance of staying solution and future focused. We will cover tips for working with high-conflict personalities.
Part 2 will focus on interacting with family court, lawyers, and litigating parents. Therapists will understand how to handle requests for records, subpoenas, witness fees, and testifying. To register click here:
