Kids First attorney Allison Heffern was awarded the 9th Annual Citizenship Award by the Linn County Bar Association. The Citizenship Award is granted annually to a deserving member of the LCBA in recognition of meaningful contributions to the community.

Lynn Hartman, attorney at Simmons Perrine Moyer Bergman and Kids First’s Board of Directors Chair, introduced Allison and remarked the award was going to, "a good citizen, a great human being, and an accomplished lawyer."

Allison's former law partner, Bill Nicholson, summed up Allison perfectly, "Where some lawyers loudly bulldoze, this lawyer thoughtfully carves. While some people are inconsistent and self-centered, she is steadfast, public spirited and generous. Allison is a classic example of good citizenship."

Congratulations Allison on this well-deserved honor.
